Procedure to sign up for and attend field trips and lessons:
1. Pay yearly subscription fees or other fees as required.
2. Sign up for events with contact person and attend events you are committed to.
3. If you do not preregister, you may not be assured a spot, and may be turned away.
4. Notify contact person ASAP if you cannot attend.
5. A fee may be required for certain events, while others may be free of charge.
6. When prepayment or firm commitment required, there will be no refund given.
7. Arrive promptly at all field trips and events.
8. Fill out waiver as required.
9. Those who do not adhere to rules may be expelled from events at the discretion of the person in charge.
10. Field trip attendance age restrictions should be observed. If in doubt, ask.
11. Parents must supervise their children at all times, or assign the task to another responsible adult.
Children’s Rules of field trip attendance
1. Obey the persons in charge.
2. Be courteous, and do not use profanity.
3. Eating & drinking only where permitted.
4. Do not interrupt when others are speaking.
5. Be on good behaviour at all times.
6. No fighting or rough play.
7. No put-downs or insults.
8. Be respectful of other people’s property.
9. No littering.
10.Raise your hand to ask questions.
Parents may sometimes be asked to volunteer their time at various tasks, such as set-up, clean up, and supervision. These tasks are essential to the running of this organization, since it is run by volunteers, and does not have any salaried employees.
Payment: May be made by cash or cheque, as indicated by the organizer. In the case of NSQ cheques, the subscriber will be responsible for the bank fees, in addition to the amount of the cheque.
